Sailing and Hiking in Maine

Summer in Maine presents the perfect opportunity for hiking and sailing.

Twice a week, Acadia Center students practice their English while climbing (small) mountains, sailing on schooners, and doing other fun summertime things.

On two recent excursions, students sailed on the schooner Surprise out of Camden harbor and hiked to the top of Maiden Cliff in Camden Hills State Park with its lovely views of Megunticook Lake (and a slice of the Atlantic Ocean too).
